Inclusive Affordable Housing Downtown May Be for You

For older LGBT adults, it can be important — yet challenging — to find a welcoming and affirming place to live in our later years so it’s exciting to have an option like the Art Lofts in our beautiful newly renovated Arcade. If downtown living appeals to you, don’t miss this opportunity to get your name on the list of potential residents because the appeal of the Arcade will likely cause these apartments to rent quickly.

The Art Lofts developer’s property management company McCormack Baron Management (MBM) handles the rental application process. If you have specific questions or are interested, please act quickly to get more information and put your name on the rental waiting list by visiting this website:

MBM manages living communities according to LGBTQ-inclusive guidelines across the country, including Cincinnati, Columbus, New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and in Palm Springs, where their community caters to people living with HIV and AIDS.

All apartments are pet-friendly and come with a number of “built-in” amenities in addition to the beautiful historic atmosphere. There are 110 apartments available and 103 of them are income-qualified, meaning there is a maximum amount of income you can have to live there. The remaining seven apartments will be rented at the going market rate. Larger families also can live in the income-qualified apartments, with income limits based on family size. Income limits vary and are based on a geographical area’s median income and should be discussed with the management company.

Numerous amenities will be available at the Art Lofts including:

Modern open floorplans

In-suite laundry

Pet friendly

Two community rooms

Exciting new retailers, restaurants, coffee house and bars

Rental parking in nearby garages available through Montgomery County
